Slow connection
Even though most of the reviews say it works great in open areas some reviews also say that the range and connectivity are a bit faulty and slow in wooded areas. It takes about 10 minutes for the collar and controller to connect to the app on your phone, and the system won’t always connect automatically.

Dogtra iQ Plus Remote Trainer is meant for dogs weighing from 10lbs and up. It is also waterproof (the collar not the remote) so you can be assured about controlling your dog’s actions, however, this product should be used smartly and not entirely as a training replacement.
Connectivity And Expiration date Issues
Certain customers had issues with collar connecting to the remote and with vibration and shock simulations on bigger dogs, but this probably has more to do with the thickness of the fur rather than the actual product itself as most of the reviewers were content with simulations even though some simulation levels are indistinguishable on from another (e.g. level 5 and 6 and so on).
